REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent must have Matric/Grade 12 Certificate Must have a National Diploma in Environmental Management or equivalent qualification Three (3) years relevant municipal experience Possession of a Project Management Qualification will be an added advantage Good understanding of Umzinyathi District’s projects Proven knowledge of project management Excellent computer skills Must have a valid driver’s license Ability to work under pressure and extended hours Have good verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy.
KEY PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent must be familiar with the objectives and targets of the projects. Assist in collating and reporting on job opportunities created through the (EPWP) Projects as part of Expanded Public Works Programme. Monitor, evaluation prepare reports on projects/ programs. Preparation of reports to council structures etc. Ordering equipment, materials and other requirements to the workers to do work keep facilities in a good condition. Conducting regular inspections of the work terrain. Attending public queries and provide feed back.
Attending to a Staff needs (Health& Safety, work related and personal problems, training & discipline. Conducting induction /workshop for all beneficiaries.
